Normally I change it to English, before doing the video's. Thank you for watching. The i4 is a great driving car with good room in the trunk and premium feel. Only the rear seats let it down, so if you need people in the rear seats often, it might be a bit of a struggle.

This was an upgrade in everything. Did not have CarPlay before. I had quite a few issues getting CarPlay to work probably. This is to be expected on these units. I used the BMW forums a ton to troubleshoot and it worked okay in the end. It was never trouble free.

I can check the BMW official repair instructions. I am quite sure it is just a sensor you unclip and the fit onto the new bumper.

Tesla have definitely gotten the range right on their models. Nothing to complain about there.

Yes that is needed a 2019 model. How could you tell?

I have seen some of these aftermarket add on. That will help with not having a cluster in front of you. The biggest issue for me is my seating position. I sit too high even with the seat fully lowered.

I will do that in the future. This was a quick video on the spot and didn't have time to prep anything. But I agree, it would be much nicer with a clean screen and clean car.

Yeah they need a few times hard on the brake to be good looking again. That is what happens when the car is outside in the lot for a few weeks.

First of all Thanks for watching. I think it is a fun little car, with all the things you need. If I did not have a need for longer trips. I would be more than happy to drive this around town. Surprisingly good leg and head-room, even for a tall person.

@@BMWORKZ​​⁠the electric Smarts are a joke range wise. And I don’t accept the "it’s a city car" argument. There are people in the world that only need one small car but also want to drive it on longer trips. Like my mom and myself for example. We both own a petrol Smart 453 and can (if needed) drive 400 km or even more with one full tank. And if it’s empty, we have our full range back in 5 minutes. So vacation trips are possible. I don’t want to buy 2 cars and pay for 2x insurance and inspections just to have something small to drive around. And this is we’re electric cars and especially the Smarts are lacking. A very small car that can do longer drives. It’s simply not possible use to the lack of space and this is the reason (for me at least) why I switched back from my Fiat 500e to a Smart petrol version. And I won’t change back until I get that range on a small car. Also 130 km/h is a joke on the German Autobahn. And this is the max what the electric Smart will go. And if you do drive it that “fast” you have like 50 - 60 km of range max. With my petrol one (1.0) I can at least overtake someone if needed since it drives 156 km/h (according to the speedo) which are realistic 151 km/h. And yes, these 21 km/h do make a difference. But something positive for the end: I love how the facelift looks. It has really grown on me and this LED headlights surely are something different ❤ (not so much for the rear lights tho. They do look like a weird Pac-Man for me 🙈🤣).

This is a very common problem and seems to be many different things. I did multiple things to solve it and not sure what did the trick. But did check all connections, updated the software on the unit, changed many settings to test what would work. I read a few write it could be due to turning on the car too late after it was unlocked. Some wrote you should start the HU within 10 sec of unlocking the car. So that is worth a try before updating everything. There is quite a long post on it on bimmerpost with different solutions. Hope you get it working.

Those wheels are horrid, have one on order but the 20 inch wheels are much nicer

The looks is definitely not for everyone. The front does not look too bad. But the rear has gone very wrong in my eyes. It does have same shape as the Mercedes EQE. The teardrop shape does not make a good looking car.

@@BMWORKZ A good aerodynamic shape is a good thing, but this vehicle has the waistline wrong. It won't bother me. I will give up driving. It is no longer fun to share roads with undrivable vehicles that are not under command of some zombie in the driver seat. I am in automotive design, and am losing interest.

In my opinion it is a superb car a pleasure to drive and everyone who sees it is amazed at the design and economy of it I love it and people who see it love it

Some like, some hate. I have one and I can say this "love or hate" shape is what gives me almost 100km more range than the ID.4 RWD I had before, with the same battery size. SUV, crossover and big wheels, those features that people love, have consequences that they don't even imagine. Hyundai knows and built two cars with almost identical drivetrains and batteries, Ioniq 5 and 6, but also two shapes, one that maximises space, the other range. They let you choose acording to your needs. What better could you ask?

There is no official code from BMW. But most people agree on the following. Blue = Monte Carlo Red = Imola Red Yellow = Phoenix Yellow Orange = Fire Orange

It is also a great car. I would not mind driving it every day.

It is very impressive for the money. The front seats are a bit narrow. But there is plenty of EV's to choose from in this budget now and more to come.

You need to go for runs then.

When buying used parts, it is mainly off eBay. New parts I get from eBay, Amazon, BMW, Schmiedmann depending on price and stock.

In Denmark you pay around 275 € to get a bumper painted. But is very different from nation to nation. The best is to ask around in your local area and pick the best place.

I got a whole bumper kit with all the small plastic bits and grills included. Most aftermarket kits comes like that.

I would add the stickers and then do a clear coat on top.
